Today we looking at a PS3 accessory from Thrustmaster called the T-X3 Charge Hub. The hub charges two PS3 controllers and adds needed USB ports to the PS3. We play lots of PS3 around my house, specifically we really like Rock Band. The problem when you have all four ports on the PS3 packed with drums, guitars and a mic is that when a normal PS3 controller goes dead, you can't even connect it to the system to use while it recharges. Thrustmaster has a product that fixes this issue called the T-X3 Charge Hub. Read on for all the details of the T-X3 Charge Hub.

Many of you should know that Sony makes far more than electronics. They're one of the largest distributors of media in the world, with their hand in Sony Pictures Entertainment and Sony BMG. While the company has been trying to use its incredible library of assets across multiple divisions, the decisions of a few stubborn-headed executives have prevented such corporate synergy.

SonySony A900 SLR review : Although being the only model in the DSLR assortment of Sony, the Alpha 100 was an amazing success. Simply ruling out all prejudice which sprung mainly from the more traditional world of photography. The consumer was 'ready' for a Sony digital SLR camera and its successor in 2007, the Alpha 700, that was introduced as a middle segment DSLR camera. Six months later, Sony launched a threesome new Alpha DSLR cameras (Alpha 200/300/350) with which Sony was able to deliver an entirely new line of Alpha cameras. Only one DSLR was missing in the line-up; the Sony A900, a high resolution DSLR camera that would establish Sony as a serious DSLR manufacturer belonging to the top 3 ranking. Read our full

At up to US$470 fully loaded, Sony's PS3 doesn't come cheap, so I'm going to have to agree with EEDAR analyst Jesse Divinich when he suggests the PS3 is getting clobbered by Microsoft's recent Xbox 360 price cuts. The PS3 costs around $400 in its base configuration, ascending to upwards of $470 if you tack on an HDMI cable ($20) and Bluetooth headset ($50). The Xbox 360 tends to be slightly to significantly more expensive if you load up its three configurations with most of the PS3's bells and whistles, but its base pricing still seems lower when you scan sticker to sticker.

HILTON TARRANT: South African consumers are under pressure, but that's not stopping global electronics giant Sony from opening branded retail stores in the country. The first Sony Centre on the African continent will open at Menlyn Park east of Pretoria tomorrow morning. It's not the first such store in Gauteng. HP recently opened a global pilot store, The HP Experience, in Sandton City and there are other international players lining up to open up their own retail shops in the country ahead of 2010. The Sony Centre joins over 200 others around the world and, considering that the company is a manufacturer, it typically looks for partners with experience in retail to actually run the stores. MD of Sony South Africa, Matthew Lang, explains this strategy.

Sony Corp. has delayed sales of LittleBigPlanet, one of its most widely anticipated video games, by at least one week in the United States, after finding potentially offensive background music in the game. The puzzle-solving, community-based game, published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3, will begin shipping to retail shops during the week of Oct. 27, Sony said on the game's Web site yesterday. Its release was originally set for today. The music in question is Tapha Niang a song performed by Malian musician Toumani Diabate, a Sony spokesman said. "One of the background music tracks that was licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an," the company said. Reuters
