Pro-Clinton bloggers are questioning Obama's ability to "close the deal," while conservative bloggers are hoping, and believing, that Obama's recent struggles have revealed him to be a "new Adlai Stevenson" who is popular with the base, but can't win a general election.

PORT OF SPAIN (Cricinfo) - The second Test at the Queen's Park Oval has effectively boiled down to a one-innings contest after West Indies were dismissed for 294, with a slender first-innings lead of 16. Muttiah Muralitharan was the wrecker-in-chief, finishing with 5 for 79, his 63rd five-wicket haul in Tests. The lead is largely symbolic and, given that West Indies will have to bat last on a pitch that has helped Murali, Sri Lanka hold a thin advantage. And by lunch Sri Lanka was playing at 78 for five.
