Best Buy announced yesterday it is now selling "refurbished" Apple iPhone 3Gs at a discounted price at 350 locations across the United States. According to Best Buy, the phones, returned by customers within the 30-day trial period, have been refurbished to their original manufacturing quality. Best Buy Mobile stores are selling the 8GB refreshed iPhone 3G for US$149 (compared with US$199 new) and the 16GB model for US$249 (US$299 new). The used phones will eventually be available at all U. S. Best Buy stores that offer AT&T by the end of January. All phones must be bought with a two-year service contract with AT&T Inc. Best Buy had just over US$40-billion in revenue for fiscal year 2008, with operations in the United States, Canada, Europe, China and Mexico.
