Palm has posted a ROM update on its web site for the Verizon Palm Treo 755p. Precise details of what the update fixes aren't listed but Palm says "this software update is a tune-up that improves the phone application, stability and device usability."

But looks like some of the software bugs might not have been squashed before the update, called version 2.40, went online yesterday.
