(RTTNews) - Drug maker Pfizer Inc. (PFE) said Wednesday that it has agreed to settle substantially all patent litigations that involve its blockbuster cholesterol drug Lipitor with Indian generics manufacturer Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd. (RBXLF.PK). The agreement would provide Pfizer with breathing space to develop newer drugs and would delay the entry of a generic version of Lipitor into the U.S. market by another twenty months, as Ranbaxy will have a license to sell generic versions of Lipitor and Caduet in the U.S. only effective November 30, 2011. Following the announcement, Pfizer's stock is currently up more than 2% in the regular trading session.

If you've always wanted to build a computer from the ground up but never really had the time to find the necessary parts online, a coupon-centered blog called Coupon Codes Mall has done all the work for you. We think their choices lead to a pretty solid build, and all the coupon/sale links are current, but let's just say this straight-up: You should temper your expectations right now. It's a simple bare bones PC and it probably won't win any real tough benchmark contests. But it's hard to argue with useful and efficient cheapness.

"If you build your client a website and the deal is that they will take over the maintenance and all afterwards, wouldn’t it be best to build the site in tables? By this I mean using tables for the layout and CSS for positioning and styling (no nested tables). If your clients are not the tech-savvy, web-savvy clients and you are afraid that tags will be confusing for them and they will not be able to work with them, would you build the site using tables?"

Perhaps the greatest advantage of using the Google Web Toolkit to build Ajax applications is having the capability to leverage advanced software engineering. JavaScript was never meant to be used to build large applications. It lacks language features that assist in code organization and compile-time type checking. It also lacks mature tools for building large applications, such as automation, integrated development environments, debugging, and testing. This chapter looks at how to use the Java software engineering tools in GWT to build nontrivial high-quality Ajax applications.
