Settlements for July PGP were talked at 85 cents/lb while July CGP contracts were at 83.50 cents/lb. One producer however was reportedly still in negotiations. Several consumers talked a roll over or a reduction for the last few weeks. Some acrylonitrile suppliers even began reducing rates by 25-40% because buyers would not pay higher prices. Even if CGP rolled, ACN suppliers were confronting a $160/mt increase in contracts from July to August, which was heard at $745/mt FOB Tampa Thursday.
